Ethical Standards & Policies
At Whosdoodles, our primary focus is the health, happiness, and well-being of our dogs from birth through retirement. We believe in total transparency regarding how our dogs live, how our puppies are raised, and how our program operates.
Our core operating standards include:
100% Home-Raised Environment (No Kennels)
Every dog and puppy in our care lives as an integral member of our family inside our home. We do not use commercial kennel facilities, outdoor runs, or outbuildings. Our dogs enjoy full access to family life, ensuring they are well-socialized, confident, and accustomed to everyday household routines.
No Guardian Homes
We firmly believe that dogs thrive best with lifelong, stable bonds. Neither our parent dogs nor our puppies are placed in "guardian homes" or shuffled between households. Every parent dog lives with us permanently as our personal pet, ensuring continuity of care, deep attachment, and a secure, lifelong home.
Lifelong Retirement Commitment
Our parent dogs are our pets first and foremost. When they reach retirement age, they remain right here in our home to live out their golden years in the comfort and familiarity of the family they have always known. We never rehome or surrender our retired parent dogs.
Locally Raised Only (No Importing or Exporting)
To ensure the highest standards of health tracking, welfare oversight, and ethical transparency, we do not import or export dogs or puppies. All of our parent dogs and puppies are born and raised entirely on-site under our direct, daily supervision.
Pet Homes Only & Respect for Veterinary Decisions
All of our puppies are placed into pet homes only. Furthermore, we do not require or force you to sign a neutering contract. We believe that health decisions regarding desexing are a personal choice to be made by you in consultation with your trusted veterinarian, based on your dog's individual health and development.
